We use the stems and leaves to make our soap.The small red flecks in the soap are thyme flowers.

Thyme leaves are only 3-6 mm long. They are oval, leathery and highly aromatic. The small pink flowers are 5-7 mm in diameter and have a small two-lobed upper lip and a three-lobed lower lip.

Thyme grows on dry grassy slopes among heather and thickets.
